St. Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh |
October 8th 04:06-04:08 She senses the wind energy
commence in her feet while she is sleeping, and it takes five seconds to ascend
to her head like a magnet. Its
movement alerts but does not wake her. Upon its completion, she ascends vertically
for around six seconds, then descends through clear sky for another five or so,
her path like an inverted V-sign. She lands in front of a church, and Isabella is
standing there, waiting for her. She still looks around sixteen years of age.
She tells April she used to come here when she was physically alive, although
she still visits in her second life. She gives the name of the church as simply
St. Mary’s Cathedral. Inside, there
is a mixed congregation, with some attending dressed in old-style clothing and
others in more modern attire. Isabella says she likes to sing hymns, and the one
she hums for April she says is called the Angel
of Peace, written by Matthias Keller in 1869. Later, a little research
reveals that this hymn was indeed written by this person, but I find that it is
secular rather religious hymn, and composed during the American Civil War. Friend, excuse me. I have to go to the front
because I am a member of the choir. Soon, she invites the congregation to
stand and leads them in the singing. In physical reality, April moves
against me on the futon and her delicate state is disturbed. Based on Isabella's father’s Wikipedia entry, I guess she was probably born in the 1820s
or 30s. The drawing April subsequently completes is clearly that of St Mary’s
Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh, which was constructed in the 1870s when Isabella
would have been much older. I conclude the information provided is not
unreasonable and compliment April on her fine artwork.
